I am a clinical linguist and I obtained my Masters’ Degree in Language Sciences applied to speech disorders and deafness at the University Ca 'Foscari, where I discussed my dissertation on the topic of Augmentative Alternative Communication, with a work entitled "AAC between linguistics, translation and intersemiotics". I graduated at the Scuola di Comunicazione Aumentativa Alternativa (AAC School) of Centro Benedetta D’Intino (Milan). I am a translator currently studying the potential contributions of the linguist in the current discussion on the different ways of translating texts and books into symbols, a topic hitherto relegated to the medical field. I am the scientific manager for the series books written with AAC symbols for the publishing house Edizioni Homeless Book and for all the AAC projects of Fare Leggere Tutti Aps.
