Simone d’Antonio is a journalist and expert of sustainable urban development, taking care of the activities of the National URBACT Point for the Research department of ANCI (Italian Association of Cities and Municipalities). In the framework of the EU programs Urban Innovative Actions and URBACT he supports the action of many Italian and European cities in the definition of urban innovation strategies and integrated action plans. He worked in Brussels at the Europea Foundation of Cities Anci Ideali and collaborated with UN-Habitat to develop and rule the urban storytelling programme Urban Journalism Academy. He is part of the Solutions Journalism Network and his articles were published by media outlets such as, among the others, The Guardian, The Atlantic, Reuters, Citylab, Il Sole 24 Ore, Citymetric-New Statesman, Cities Today.
