Serena Giusti is head of the Programme on Eastern Europe, Russia and Eurasia at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa. She is also Senior Associate Research Fellow at the Institute for International Studies (ISPI) in Milan. She is member of the OSCE Reflection Group on European Security and sits in the Advisory board of Women in International Security (WIIS) – Italy. She has extensively published on the EU’s enlargement and European Neighbourhood policy, Russia’s Foreign policy and EU-Russia relations. She has worked for the European Commission, Unicef-icdc and OSCE. She holds a Ph.D. in Political and Social Sciences from the European University Institute in Florence and a Master degree from the College of Europe (Natolin).
